Worship and raw emotion

Today has been a great day.  We worshiped with three different congregations.  To be with people who have next to nothing and yet see them give their all in worship of Christ is astounding, humbling, and emotional to say the least.  There were many times that I was left speechless and honestly ashamed of my selfish worship.  It is amazing how, when things are stripped away, the beauty of Christ shines brightly in our lives.  That God would ignite such a zeal for Him and His name in our church!

We are doing well and headed to lunch.  I will post pictures when I get home.  My internet there is faster than dial up!

Please keep praying...

Tired but alive

We made it safe and sound to Addis Ababa!  It was an extremely long flight and now we have about a five hour drive ahead of us.  Matt took us to get something to eat (eggs, toast, and macchiatos - espresso and milk).  It was good.  And yes I had two macchiatos and yes I wanted more.  Ethiopian coffee rocks!

I hope to send more info soon.

Ready to Go!

So I just found out that I can post via email. That should make my trip
to Ethiopia that much more exciting. Hopefully I will get chances to post!
